What’s New For 2025?
There is a plethora of changes going into the 2025 model year for both the Tahoe and the Suburban, and the first one you will notice is the new stunning exterior design. Both models have been meticulously designed to offer a fresh and bold exterior that catches the eye without being too overstated. This is achieved with the help of bolder signature LED lighting with stunning new animations, all-new available 24-inch wheels, and more. Despite the exterior changes, both the Tahoe and Suburban retain all the signature design cues that customers have grown to love. These updates do not stop at the exterior as Chevrolet always makes sure to focus on the interior, as that is where you spend most of your time with the vehicle. Debuting for 2025 is an all-new best-in-segment 17.7-inch diagonal touchscreen. This all-new screen paired with the other interior refinements and updates makes the interior of the all-new Suburban or Tahoe an incredible place to be. Beyond just cosmetic changes, the all-new Tahoe and Suburban will offer a second-generation 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel engine that packs a punch with 10% more horsepower than the current models. This engine will offer both peak performance and towing capacity as well as increase efficiency, which will make towing, hauling, and trips to the cabin a breeze. Wrapping up the many changes for 2025 is increased ride and handling enhancements as well as a new array of interior and exterior cameras, all in the name of safety and security.
2025 Chevrolet Tahoe & Suburban Configurations + Specs
The 2025 Tahoe and Suburban will be available in the following trims: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country. All 6 of these distinct trim levels will feature all the changes named above, and select trims will offer unique design cues. The Z71 trim, for example, will offer skid plates and a front fascia that will offer an increased approach angle when off-roading. The High Country trim leans into a more luxury-based design theme, with a balance of black and chrome trim creating a serious road presence.
The standard engine option across the LS, LT, RST, Z71, and Premier trim will remain the 5.3L gas V8 found in prior model years. A more powerful 6.2L V8 will be found standard on the High Country trim and will be offered as an additional option on the RST, Z71, and Premier trims. The new diesel engine will be available soon after the initial launch of the 2025 Tahoe and Suburban and will offer more power which will in turn make trailering considerably easier.
2025 Chevrolet Tahoe & Suburban Exterior
Road presence has never been an issue for the Tahoe or Suburban, and the all-new 2025 iterations take this to the next level. The front fascia of both models features a large grille that commands respect on the road, with the Chevrolet bowtie proudly displayed in the center. If the new faces of the Tahoe and Suburban look familiar to you, it is because they take some serious inspiration from the Chevrolet truck lineup. This is largely seen in the distinct thin LED daytime running lights that are arranged in the classic C-shaped style of other Chevrolet vehicles. As far as color choices go, there are two new exterior colors available as well for the 2025 model year: Cypress Gray and Lakeshore Blue Metallic.

2025 Chevrolet Tahoe & Suburban Interior
The all-new 2025 Tahoe and Suburban take both the driver and passengers into the utmost consideration, offering new creature comforts and safety features that make the cabin a special place to be. The more spacious interior takes further cues from other new Chevrolet vehicles offering a focus on technology. This is seen with the all-new standard 17.7-inch diagonal infotainment screen that is paired with an equally impressive 11-inch diagonal driver information center. Surrounding these brand-new screens are sweeping lines that create an increase in perceived space for both the driver and the passenger. This focus on intuitive interior design does not stop at the sweeping dash lines and continues with the angle the information center sits at which creates a more commanding feel of control. On top of this, Chevrolet focused on finding a good balance of physical and digital controls, which is set to make buyers of any age feel at home in the cockpit.
