The new 2020 Chevy Silverado HD is on its way, and we recently got a glimpse of how these trucks are built. This video demonstrates the production process at the Chevrolet assembly plant in Flint, Michigan. Getting a long look at this great new series of Silverado Heavy Duty trucks is as exciting as watching them be built!

Vivid shots of this vehicle being put together, coated, painted, and tested for quality at the factory. It’s pretty amazing to watch this truck start as pieces of sheet metal and parts and end as a fully functioning Silverado Heavy Duty truck. Another interesting thing to note is how automated the building process has become. Precision technology and robotics has allowed more accurate and consistent execution of certain parts of the production process. Things have changed a lot since Chevrolet was founded in 1911!
