The Chevrolet Equinox has dominated the crossover SUV segment for 20 years, and rightfully so. Here to continue this reign is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV, an all-electric version of the fully redesigned 4th-generation Equinox. We do not have a solid release date yet for the 2024 Chevy Equinox EV, however, we anticipate it to be available by mid-2024.

Exterior & Trim Levels

Sporting a clean exterior redesign, the 2024 Equinox EV looks like a car straight out of the future. With its wide stance and sharp muscular body lines, the Equinox EV demands some serious road presence and is destined to be a head-turner. The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV is going to have 5 distinct trim levels with a multitude of colors and additional exterior/interior options. The trim levels, in order, are 1LT, 2LT, 2RS, 3LT, and 3RS. Although we do not have complete information regarding the differences between each trim at the moment, we can see that each trim has its own unique styling and will offer its own value proposition. The wide spread of trims allows customers to choose the best choice based on their budget and current needs. Below is a breakdown of the 2024 Equinx EV trim levels, their respective starting price, and what we know so far about the feature differences between trim levels.

• 1LT: Starting at $34,995, the 1LT is a budget-friendly option that gives you all the important features without a lot of extras. The 1LT is able to maintain its approachable starting price without sacrificing range, up to 319 miles. It also retains all the exterior and interior styling cues found in the other trims and features 19-inch wheels standard.
• 2LT: Starting at $43,295, the 2LT sprinkles on some additional creature comforts such as a heated steering wheel, front seats, and mirrors. There is also a stunning LED light bar found between the front headlights, further extenuating Chevrolet’s all-new design language.
• 3LT: Starting at $45,295, the 3LT does what you may expect, which is to take the 2LT a step further with interior and exterior features. Sitting on top of 21-inch wheels, the 3LT is a serious head-turner. Inside you can find heated front and rear outboard seats, as well as ventilated front seats. Adaptive cruise control is also picked up as a standard feature, and so is reverse automatic braking.
• 2RS: Starting at $44,795, the 2RS kicks off the first performance-based trim level in the 2024 Equinox EV lineup. Visually, the 2RS looks sporty with its gloss black wheels and accents, including a black front grille that creates an aggressive presence on the road. A heated flat-bottom steering wheel is found inside, giving the cabin a seriously sporty aura.
• 3RS: Starting at $46,795, the 3RS sits at the top of the trim lineup for a good reason… or many good reasons. The 3RS retains all the race-inspired exterior design as the 2RS, but this time sitting on top of 21-inch black wheels. Inside, the 2024 Equinox EV 3RS is packed with additional standard technology features such as wireless phone charging. Similar to the 3LT, the 3RS is loaded with standard safety and technology features and is truly the epitome of what a crossover all-electric SUV should be.

Interior & Technology

As one would expect, Chevrolet did not cut any corners when designing the interior and decking it out with all the latest in technology. A perfect match to the modern exterior, the interior features a sporty yet refined design that is driver-focused. Angled towards the driver are two incredible screens, a 17.7-inch Diagonal Display Touch Screen and an 11-inch diagonal Driver Information Center. These screens come standard across all trim levels, and house important information such as vehicle data and your entertainment center. Each trim level also comes with its own distinct interior, some of the higher trims such as the 3RS come with unique interior color, design, and an upgraded flat-bottom steering wheel. You can also opt for customizable ambient interior lighting, which allows you to even further customize the interior of your Equinox EV to how you are currently feeling. Aside from technology and materials, the 2024 Equinox EV interior is loaded with cargo space and storage options. With seating for up to five people, and up to 57.2 cubic feet of cargo space, the Equinox EV is an excellent choice for almost anything.

Thanks to this, the 2024 Equinox EV is slated to produce 288 horsepower and up to 1,500 pounds of towing capacity. It can achieve these staggering numbers while launching to 60mph in 5.9 seconds and providing the driver with up to 319 miles of range. The Equinox EV prioritizes efficiency which can be seen with its regenerative braking and one-pedal driving, which help convert the vehicle’s kinetic energy into additional battery power. The Equinox EV can be charged either at home or on the go, further providing convenience to consumers.
