The Equinox is a crossover SUV that was introduced by Chevrolet in 2004 for the 2005 model year. For the past 20 years, the Chevrolet Equinox has dominated its segment thanks to its approachable starting price, spacious interior, sharp exterior, and unrivaled safety. Now officially back for the fourth generation, the 2025 Equinox is here to once again claim its spot at the top of the crossover SUV segment, and further solidify its place in the hearts and minds of consumers.

Exterior Redesign

The 2025 Chevy Equinox has been meticulously redesigned to carry a road presence unmatched by any other SUV on the road. The Activ trim features all-terrain tires, an off-road-tuned suspension, and roof rails. If you fancy a slightly sportier option, the RS is the perfect option for you. Similar to other Chevy models with RS trim levels, the Equinox RS maintains the sporty and strong exterior styling that gives it a fast appearance even while parked. The 2025 Chevy Equinox RS stands proud with its black emblems and badging, 19-inch wheels, unique front end and grille, and black roof rails and mirror caps. Chevrolet also kept the more reserved buyer in mind, offering the LT trim level, which offers all the great features of the 2025 Equinox without all the flashy bells and whistles. Similar to the Activ and RS trims,  the LT has its unique grille and front fascia, and you can still customize it with an available two-tone roof

Interior Redesign

The interior of the 2025 Equinox has taken inspiration from the exterior by offering consumers a plethora of design changes, most based on trim level. The interior is driver-focused, with its 11.3-inch infotainment touch-screen slanted towards the driver. The Activ trim creates a refined cabin space, despite being an off-road-focused trim level. Evotext and suede microfiber seats are found throughout the interior of the 2025 Equinox Active and “Activ” can be found stitched into the headrests. The RS trim has some unique interior touches as well, with its Torch Red and Santorini Blue interior stitching. RS is also debossed into the front seat headrests and the flat-bottom steering wheel gives a race-car-type aura to the cabin. The LT trim, similar to its exterior styling, provides a functional yet basic interior that features cloth seating. Heated front seats and steering wheel can be found throughout all trims of the 2025 Chevy Equinox, which is an excellent luxury for Minneapolis, MN, buyers to have.

Despite this plethora of interior features, the all-new 2025 Equinox offers incredible practicality thanks to its multitude of storage space. One will find many convenient places to store items in the front of the cabin, thanks to its pass-through center console area. The 2025 Chevy Equinox also has a folding 60/40 rear bench seat which offers added flexibility for any shape or size cargo you may need to haul. You will also find hidden storage under the rear cargo area, which can add some extra security to your valuable items. In total, there is a whopping 63.5 cubic feet of cargo volume, which is more than enough to haul all your equipment, luggage, and screaming kids.

Powertrain & Capability

The 2025 Chevy Equinox is not all looks thanks to its punchy 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. This turbo engine provides some excellent low-end torque while also providing the driver with the utmost efficiency. Paired with available all-wheel drive, the 2025 Equinox quickly becomes the best option for drivers in snowy climates like Minnesota.
