Walser Polar Chevrolet’s Winter Community Recap
As winter loosens its grip on the Twin Cities, we’re taking a moment to look back at the season and the communities we had the privilege of showing up for. From rinkside activations to youth hockey partnerships, Walser Polar Chevrolet spent this winter doing what we do best: being here.

Teddy Bear Toss: a tradition worth sponsoring
One of the most beloved moments in youth and amateur hockey is the Teddy Bear Toss, and this winter Walser Polar Chevrolet was proud to sponsor it. Every time the home team scored, fans grabbed a stuffed bear from our display table and launched it onto the ice, a small act that collects toys for families in need and lights up the whole building in the process.
Watching a rink full of people celebrate a goal and a good cause at the same time is something you don’t forget. That’s exactly the kind of community moment we want to be part of.

Walser Invitational and tournament partnerships
This season we extended our presence through the Walser Invitational, supporting competitive youth hockey at a level that reflects our investment in the next generation of players. Whether it was rink glass visibility, on-ice branding, or direct event sponsorship, our goal was simple: make sure our support was felt by coaches, families, and players alike.
Hockey in Minnesota isn’t just a sport. It’s infrastructure. Families build their winters around it, and the communities surrounding these rinks deserve partners who take that seriously.
Edina Hockey and rink partnerships across the metro
Our relationship with Edina Hockey and activations across White Bear Lake and the broader metro reflect a consistent philosophy at Walser: show up where people already are. Rinkside branding, in-arena presence at key games, and direct sponsorships put the Walser name alongside the things that matter most to our customers, their kids, their weekends, and their communities.
Walser Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM contributed to this effort as well, reinforcing that the Walser family of dealerships approaches community the same way it approaches car buying: with transparency, commitment, and no games.
Same values, on and off the ice
At Walser Polar Chevrolet, we’ve never believed that selling cars and serving your community are separate things. The same principles that drive our no-negotiation, single-consultant buying experience, transparent pricing, a money-back guarantee, and an 8-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Warranty, are the same ones that push us to invest in the places and people that make the Twin Cities worth calling home.
As we move into spring, we carry that same commitment forward. Thanks to every player, parent, fan, and community organizer who made this winter memorable. We’ll see you at the rink next season.
